     In the book ' The son of Neptune" by Rick Riordan Percy gets his memory stolen by a goddess Hera he is lead to a roman camp for a task that can resolve in the whole Olympus falling and the evil earth goddess Gaea rising again to destroy the gods.  Percy on the other hand meets Hazel and Frank Hazel died in the 1940 but was brought back by her brother Nico she is also a daughter of hades Frank likes her but doesn't know how to express it to her When Percy gets inside the camp him Hazel and Frank are sent on a a mission to stop Gaea from rising.  They meet many people that Percy once knew but he doesn't know now because of his memory.  There is on name in his brain that hr knows is a important person in his life Annabeth.  There relationship is unbreakable.

When on the quest with Hazel and Frank they meet up with Ares the one who told them to go o the quest and he tells them to go to Alaska to free Thanatos the doors of death holder.  They soon end up in Alaska fighting a giant but every time he would fall he would be reborn because he couldn't die in his homeland. Soon they bring him to Canada and kill him there.  Now that the summary is over lets talk about Percy and his conflicts.  Percy is overcome by the fact that he has no memory if his memory was back he couldn't ended the war long ago.  Another conflict is him and the Roman camp because they don't get along very well the leader of the camp Reyna had problems with Percy long ago and he feels so pushed in a corner.  The last conflict is Percy and someone named annabeth it hurts him to know that he once had a very important relationship with The girl before his memory was taken .

To wrap all this up Percy had a lot of conflicts to deal with and to see him overcome them and complete his task was amazing.  Percy got his memory back and everything seemed good until annabeth arrived carrying the mark of Athena with it burning through new rome.
